Fall down the rabbit hole and experience the magic as the Stavna Ballet proudly presents “Alice in Wonderland”. This full-length ballet version of the classic story will bring the beloved and eccentric characters to life with original choreography by Shannon McConville and music by Tchaikovsky. The choreography in Alice in Wonderland will charm adults and children in a theatrical performance that merges traditional ballet movement with contemporary dance. Tickets go on sale Monday, December 9th.

Stavna Ballet is proud to announce our 4th annual gala, Reach for the Stars! Join us for an elegant evening in support of our outreach program, StavaREACH. This program is designed to help children around the Greater Richmond region experience the art of ballet. Our goal is to help these children reach their full potential by promoting dance and movement as part of a healthy lifestyle.
Reach for the Stars 2018 will be hosted by the Salisbury Country Club from 7-10 PM on October 13th, 2018. The event will include an open bar, heavy hors d’ oeuvres, live music, with a live and silent auction. Tickets are available and on sale now!
Stavna interacts with children of all ages teaching them dance technique, vocab, and knowledge. Our StavnaREACH instructors visit locations in Richmond such as The Robinson Theatre and Peter Paul Development Center. Reach for the Stars 2018 aims to continue these programs with the help of wonderful patrons. Our gala will include a silent and a live auction to help StavnaREACH go further in the community.

Sweets with Snow is our annual meet and greet with Stavna Ballet company members and the cast of Snow White. Each year we host an event for kids of all ages that features exclusive photo opportunities for the public. This unique event gives children a personal experience with professional dancers in a fun setting that includes photos with their favorite characters, special crafts, sweet treats and a sneak peek into the upcoming full length ballet of the season!

A Taste of Art will celebrate all forms of fine and performing arts through exhibitions, demonstrations and performances, and crafts for children. Stavna Ballet presents our 3rd annual Masquerade Ball! Saturday October 28th 7:00-10:00pm. Our annual gala brings together our dancers, volunteers, board members and the arts community. This one night raises over 25% of the funds Stavna Ballet needs to support our performance season and outreach programs. The evening includes cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, music and fun!
